Directions
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan over a low heat. (If you like this dessert and want to make it a part of your romantic repertoire, you might want to consider investing in a chocolate fondue set.) As it melts, mix in the other ingredients. Leave for about five minutes or until smooth. Serve with strawberries, bananas or whatever else you’d like to dip.
2- APPLE CRISP
This recipe takes the classic apple crisp and makes it easy. Apple crisp is always delicious and it’s a nice, comforting dish to bring along to those dinners that you get invited to.
Ingredients
6 Apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
1 cup Water
1 (18.25 oz) Package of White Cake Mix
1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup Melted Butter
Directions
Grease a 9” x 13” baking dish and heat the oven to 350F. Evenly place the apples side by side along the bottom of the dish and pour the water over them. Mix the cake mix, cinnamon and brown sugar together in a separate bowl. Blend in the melted butter until you have a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle it over the apples and place in the oven for 50 minutes.
3- DESSERT CREPE
Try this recipe out and then let your imagination go wild. You can serve it the traditional way with maple syrup or you can try out dozens of other options. Your choices can range from ice cream to fruit, from Nutella to whipped cream, or from chocolate mousse to caramel.
Ingredients
4 Eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/3 cups Milk
2 Tbsp Melted Butter
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Tbsp White Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
Directions Whisk all the ingredients in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth and consistent. Place a medium-sized skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour about three tablespoons of the batter onto the skillet. Tilt the skillet in circles so the batter spreads evenly and coats the surface. Cook for one or two minutes on each side until golden brown. Use the rest of the batter in the same way. Serve immediately.
4- FRUIT PIE
If there’s fruit in the dessert, it must be good for you. Right? Because everyone’s palate is different, this is a nice flexible recipe that allows you to use the fruits you like best.
Ingredients
4 cups of 3 Different Fruits
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 Butter-Flavored Pie Crust
2 Tsp Lemon Juice
1 cup Heavy Cream, whipped
Directions
Slice and peel the fruits, if needed. Place the fruit in a blender and blend one cup of the fruit at a high speed. Mix the water and corn starch in a saucepan until smooth. Add the blended fruits, corn syrup and lemon juice. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly. Bring it to a boil and pour mixture into a bowl. Cover the surface with wax paper or plastic wrap, so that it doesn’t form a skin, and let it cool for an hour. Fold in the remaining fruit. Spread the cream over the insides of the piecrust, and fill it with the fruit mixture. Chill for three hours.
